High VLO City
High V.LO City is an EU project aimed at accelerating the deployment of hydrogen-powered buses in public transport. High V.LO City does this by supporting the adoption of hydrogen bus transport and the development of hydrogen refuelling stations at four strategic locations in Europe: Delfzijl (Groningen), Antwerp, Liguria and Aberdeen.
The High V.LO project started in 2012 and will run until the end of 2018. Through the strategic location of the demosites, the project aims to increase awareness among other potentially interested transport authorities in the same geographical area about the performance of hydrogen-powered buses in regular bus transport.
PitPoint, which has been fully integrated into Total since January 1, 2020, received financial support from the High V.Lo City project for the acquisition of the hydrogen refuelling station in Antwerp and the development of the hydrogen refuelling station in Delfzijl (Groningen).
