PitPoint integration with Total enters next phase in 2020

The acquisition of PitPoint by Total in 2017 has represented the opportunity for accelerated growth of our international clean fuel infrastructure network. Today, this growing network includes more than two thousand electric vehicle (EV) charge points, more than one hundred and sixty compressed natural gas vehicle (CNG) stations, four hydrogen (H2) and six liquefied natural gas (LNG) stations, located in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.

Total’s ambition to become the responsible energy major through better energy, and PitPoint’s mission to leave the earth cleaner through sustainable mobility are already well aligned. To deliver on the changing energy mix needs of customers, our offerings will now be combined, by merging our activities into the Total group – leveraging PitPoint’s clean fuels know-how and Total’s market presence.

The integration with Total will evolve PitPoint’s value proposition. Our clean fuels – CNG, biomethane, electricity, hydrogen, and LNG – will take an even more prominent place in the overall Total customer value proposition, with a focus on enabling companies and governments to make the transition towards sustainable and zero emission transport solutions.

To support this change, part of the PitPoint workforce will be moving to Total’s operational European affiliate offices in The Hague, Brussels, Berlin and Paris, and a global competence centre will be launched at our Nieuwegein office, from the beginning of the New Year.
