Peter Goedvolk has been active in the energy sector for many years. From 1980 to 1984, he worked for the French oil company Total. In the same year, he started a business on a small-scale under the name Argos, which he then gradually developed over many years into a huge international energy concern (one of the top 25 Dutch companies). He has always focussed on sustainable energy and has made substantial investments in this field. Since the sale of his shares, he has been taking an active, entrepreneurial role in the Trading & Logistics Platform COUNT and is an investor in First Dutch. In both activities, sustainable energy plays a significant role.

Michiel Muller studied economics in Rotterdam and, after his career with ExxonMobil, developed the fuel chain Tango into an international success with co-founder Marc Schröder. Muller is also an author, supervisory director for FD Mediagroep and a member of the investment committee for Innovation Quarter, which focuses on strengthening the innovation and competitive power of Zuid-Holland. Recently, he collaborated with three companions to create the online supermarket Picnic, contributing towards sustainable food provision for the modern city.
